I enjoyed this book about a group of jazz musicians who get together at the beginning of the second world war in Berlin and Paris.
The book moves between then and now and gradually explains why certain things happened and why certain things did not. Along the way it mixes in historical figures who add interest. Would definitely recommend to a friend. 8/10
